  I decided to try something different on Thursday, and headed to Texas roadhouse. I had never been to one before. Upon entering I was greeted by a host, and told them I was just going to have a seat at the bar. I was greeted by the friendly bartender Maria who asked me if I had ever been to a Texas roadhouse before. When I told her I had not, she proceeded to tell me all about the restaurant. I decided to try a very nice early bird special of 6 ounce sirloin and two sides. I ordered the steak medium with mushrooms as one of my sides and a house salad for the other.After I told her I didn't want the bread offered or any croutons on my salad, she very keenly picked up that I was on a low-carb diet. We had a very nice conversation about that, and my salad came out right away. It was a very good size, the blue cheese dressing was excellent, and housemade which was a bonus! The real kicker was it had chopped egg on it which was awesome. Once I was done with that the steak came out perfectly cooked medium and very flavorful which is one of the reasons I enjoy a sirloin. The mushrooms were cooked very well and seasoned spot on. Plus it was a great deal for only $9.99, you can't beat that and with great quality. I was very happy and will make sure to stop back again soon. Thanks Maria!

  This is a great place to go for a great meal at reasonable prices. We've eaten here on countless occasions and I cannot recall ever having a bad experience. It's a roadhouse atmosphere, ( hence the name, huh?) and you'll hear a good "Yee Haw!" more than once during your meal.
  
  They hand cut the steaks in house and you can even pick your own out from the case as you're escorted to your seat. A nice touch, for sure.
  
  They have a bucket of peanuts waiting for you at your table. Shuck them and toss the shells on the floor. They've got an extensive menu. We've gotten the loaded bacon cheese fries (always a good choice) and the blooming onion. The onion on par with their competitors from "Down Under".
  
  As far as entrees, I've ordered steak and shrimp, ribs, chicken and pulled pork dinners. All were prepared well. They also have an abundance of sides, from chili, salads, loaded sweet and baked potatoes, veggies beans, fries...etc. You can't go wrong with any of them.
  
  The long and the short of it is, if you want a great meal at a reasonable price, you're in for a treat. If you're an Outback fan, give this place a shot. The food is better, at least in my opinion and it's less expensive, to boot.

  The bread appetizers were good but everything went downhill from there. I ordered a half rack of ribs and it was so salty that I felt my blood pressure rise up after the first bite. My family also ordered their own portion of food like BBQ chicken breast and steak and their food was also very salty to the point where they were not able to finish their portion. We did not even get desert because of how sub par the food is.

  We just left from a late lunch after unpacking all day at the University so we were exhausted and hangry and our server Dan was just all around awesome so it made us feel a lot better, very tentative and super friendly and just made our experience that much better! Highly recommend!

  The steak was incredible and the apps were great too.  Perfect atmosphere and the manager was personable and attentive.  Although the food was great ,. The real star was our server Melody.  She made our experience there a pleasure .  If you go there ask to be in her section, it will be worth it!!
